ABOUT PRESTIGE SPROUT

We build for the part that still needs judgement.

Prestige Sprout is a founder-led UK product company building tools and delivering hands-on work around commercial decisions, complex delivery and practical AI.

Why Prestige Sprout exists

Producing things has become remarkably easy.

A proposal can be drafted in minutes. A report can be generated before the meeting ends. Another opportunity can be added to the pipeline almost without friction. AI has made it possible for businesses to create more, respond faster and keep more work moving at once.

But the expensive questions haven't disappeared.

  • Should we pursue this at all?
  • Is the evidence actually strong enough?
  • What are we agreeing to?
  • Is the project genuinely ready to launch?
  • Does this workflow need AI, or are we automating the wrong problem?

The more cheaply organisations can produce, the more important those decisions become.

That is the territory Prestige Sprout was built for.

We build products where a useful answer is sometimes no, deliver services when the situation needs experienced people rather than software, and use AI where it improves the work rather than because it makes the proposition sound current.

Where the idea came from

Built from the decisions we kept seeing in real work.

Prestige Sprout did not begin with a list of AI features.

It came from years spent around competitive bids, commercial deals, technology implementations, supplier decisions and the moments where somebody eventually has to make a call.

The pattern was familiar.

  • An opportunity looked attractive because of its value.
  • A proposal sounded convincing until it was tested against what the buyer would actually score.
  • A difficult contractual point was accepted because everybody was relieved the deal had been won.
  • A project date gathered so much momentum that challenging it became harder than accepting the risk.

And good people often knew something felt wrong before they had a structured way to explain why.

We wanted to build around that moment.

Not another system for producing more work.

A better way to interrogate the decision before the organisation commits to it.

The founders

Built by people who have spent their careers making difficult work move.

Prestige Sprout is founder-led, and both founders remain directly involved in the products, methodology and client work.

Between them, they bring more than 16 years of industry experience each, spanning technology, financial services, commercial decision-making, complex delivery, competitive bids, proposals and the practical work of turning difficult questions into decisions organisations can act on.

That mix is important to Prestige Sprout. The company sits between commercial judgement and execution. It is not enough to know what looks good on paper. The decision also has to survive the buyer, the contract, the implementation and what happens after the work is won.

Ola Badmus

Founder · Product, Commercial Decisions & Delivery

Ola brings a background across technology, financial services, payments, project and programme delivery and commercial decision-making.

With a background in Computer Engineering and a Master's degree in Financial Technology, his career has included complex technology implementations, SaaS platforms, payments, ERP and CRM programmes, integrations, migrations and large customer-facing delivery environments.

Much of that work has involved the point where commercial ambition meets operational reality: deciding what can realistically be delivered, coordinating technical and business teams, managing risk and dependencies, navigating difficult stakeholders and taking programmes through implementation and go-live.

That experience heavily shapes Prestige Sprout.

It is why the company looks beyond whether an opportunity appears attractive and asks whether it deserves the pursuit. Why a proposal is judged not simply by how polished it sounds, but by whether the buyer can actually score it. And why a contract is considered not only as something to sign, but as a set of commitments somebody will eventually have to deliver.

At Prestige Sprout

Ola works across much of the company.

He leads the development of Pursue or Pass and the Decision Assistant, contributes to the wider Deal Desk product direction and works directly across commercial advisory, project and programme delivery, go-live readiness and AI workflow implementation.

He also leads much of the company's bespoke build work, including Sprout Desk and client web experiences, bringing together product thinking, technology and the commercial problem the client is actually trying to solve.

The role is deliberately broad. Prestige Sprout is still being built close to the work, and Ola remains involved from the first question through to what eventually gets delivered.

Co-founder

Commercial Evaluation, Proposals & Product

Prestige Sprout's co-founder brings a background spanning technology, finance, commercial proposals and competitive bids.

Their experience brings a complementary perspective to the company: understanding what buyers are really asking for, how competing suppliers are evaluated, where commercial submissions become exposed and what separates a convincing internal story from a case that stands up when somebody outside the organisation has to score it.

They have worked across complex commercial environments where strong writing alone is not enough. The response has to bring together evidence, commercial understanding, technical input and the priorities of the buyer, while remaining clear enough for decision-makers to compare it against credible alternatives.

That experience shapes a significant part of Prestige Sprout's thinking.

Where delivery experience naturally asks, “Can we actually stand behind this?”, commercial evaluation asks, “Will the buyer believe it, score it and choose it?”

Both questions matter before a business commits its time, money or reputation.

At Prestige Sprout

They lead much of the thinking behind the Proposal Reviewer, including how Prestige Sprout approaches public and private sector evaluation, evidence, responsiveness and the commercial case for choosing one supplier over another.

They also work across the wider Deal Desk methodology and product development, helping translate real commercial and proposal experience into structured decision tools rather than generic AI output.

Their contribution extends beyond proposals. They are directly involved in shaping the company's product direction, commercial thinking, client work and the standards used to decide whether what Prestige Sprout builds is genuinely useful.

Two perspectives behind the same idea

Prestige Sprout benefits from two different but complementary ways of looking at the same commercial decision.

Ola's perspective is shaped heavily by technology, delivery and what happens after a commitment is made.

The co-founder's perspective is shaped heavily by commercial evaluation, proposals, evidence and how a decision looks from the buyer's side of the table.

That overlap is where much of Prestige Sprout's thinking comes from.

  • Is this worth doing?
  • Can we defend the case for it?
  • Can we deliver what we're promising?
  • What are we committing the business to if we say yes?

Those are the questions the company keeps coming back to, whether the work ends up as software, advisory support or hands-on delivery.

Method before software

The screen comes after the reasoning.

A confident interface can make weak thinking look authoritative.

We would rather solve the opposite problem.

The core Deal Desk products begin with a written methodology for the decision they are supposed to judge. That reasoning is worked through before it becomes product behaviour, and realistic cases are used to test whether the resulting system reaches decisions we can defend.

Only then does it become software.

That principle matters because the valuable part of a decision product is not the form, dashboard or model sitting underneath it.

It is the discipline of knowing:

  • what question is actually being answered,
  • what evidence matters,
  • what should be challenged,
  • what happens if the assumption is wrong,
  • what trade-offs are being made,
  • and what would cause the answer to change.

The Decision Engine

Different decisions. The same discipline underneath them.

The Decision Engine exists so Prestige Sprout products do not become a collection of unrelated AI prompts giving persuasive answers in different interfaces.

Each commercial decision is different.

Whether to pursue an opportunity is not the same problem as reviewing a proposal.

A proposal decision is not the same problem as deciding whether to accept a contract.

But the discipline underneath them can remain consistent:

FROM VERDICT NEW EVIDENCE · REVERSAL CONDITION

FRAME

Define the decision clearly.

EXPOSE

Bring the assumptions, evidence and unknowns into view.

TEST

Challenge what the decision is resting on.

FORESEE

Look beyond the immediate outcome.

WEIGH

Put the relevant trade-offs beside each other.

VERDICT

Make the call and show what could change it.

The public explanation stops there.

The detailed methodology behind how individual modules reach their outputs stays inside the product.

Products and services, for the same reason

Sometimes judgement belongs in software. Sometimes people need to do the work.

Prestige Sprout has both.

The Deal Desk packages commercial decision-making into products that teams can use repeatedly around opportunities, proposals, contracts and the wider deal lifecycle.

The Decision Assistant is the free first step for an early opportunity decision.

Our services put experienced people directly into the work, from project and programme delivery and go-live readiness to commercial advisory, AI workflow implementation and bespoke Websites & Sprout Desk builds.

Those may look like different kinds of work.

The common thread is not the technology.

It is deciding what actually needs doing before rushing to produce the answer.

Independent by design

We would rather stay useful than become busy for the sake of it.

Prestige Sprout is bootstrapped and independent.

That affects how we build.

  • We do not need every visitor to become a customer.
  • We do not need every opportunity to turn into an engagement.
  • And the Deal Desk does not need every decision to end in PURSUE, SUBMIT or SIGN.
  • Sometimes the useful answer is to qualify further.
  • Sometimes it is to fix the work first.
  • Sometimes it is to renegotiate.
  • Sometimes it is to walk away.

That willingness to disagree with the outcome somebody was hoping for is not separate from the product philosophy.

It is the point.

What we are building towards

We are keeping the company deliberately focused.

The Deal Desk is the flagship commercial decision product.

The Decision Assistant is its free front door.

Our services let us work directly on delivery, commercial and AI problems that should not be forced into software.

Sprout Desk takes the interactive-front-door pattern we use ourselves and builds it around a client's own business, offering and customer journey.

And Think Sharper Club explores the same interest in better judgement from a different direction: helping people practise clearer thinking as a skill.

We are building the tools we wanted when the answer mattered more than the output.

A tender worth questioning before the team spends a week on it.

A proposal worth challenging before the buyer sees it.

A contract worth reading commercially before the relief of winning takes over.

A project worth stopping for one honest readiness conversation.

A workflow worth understanding before somebody decides AI must be the answer.

That is the kind of work Prestige Sprout is here for.

If you are deciding something that deserves a closer look, bring us the decision.
