Privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains how Prestige Sprout Media Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal information in connection with this website. We have designed this site to collect as little personal data as possible.
What this website collects
This website does not use cookies, does not run analytics trackers, and does not include advertising or social media scripts. We do not build profiles of visitors, and there is nothing here to accept or decline, which is why you will not see a cookie banner.
Two limited categories of data can still arise:
- Contact messages. When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, chosen topic and message are sent securely to our server, which emails them to us. They are not stored in any database on this website. We use them only to reply to you and to keep a sensible record of our correspondence.
- Hosting logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and operational purposes. We do not use these logs to identify individuals.
Fonts
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives the technical information involved in serving them, such as your IP address. You can read Google's privacy policy on their website.
How long we keep information
Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and maintain a sensible business record, after which they are deleted.
The Decision Assistant
This website links to the Prestige Sprout Decision Assistant, an interactive tool at assistant.prestigesprout.co.uk that helps you work out the right next step with us. If you use it, here's what happens with your information.
What we process: the answers you enter into the triage or enquiry forms; your name, email address, organisation and preferred next step if you choose to send an enquiry; and your IP address at the moment you use the tool, for abuse prevention only.
Who processes it: we do (Prestige Sprout Media Ltd), Anthropic (whose Claude API generates your framing from your answers), Vercel (which hosts the tool), Fasthosts (which delivers the emails) and Supabase (which stores an anonymised usage counter for abuse prevention). Anthropic's terms state that they do not use API data to train their models, and that they retain requests for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring only, then delete them.
Where your information lives: your framing and enquiry summary are sent to you and to us by email, and kept in those inboxes for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, up to 24 months. A one-way cryptographic hash of your email address (not the address itself) sits in our abuse-prevention database for 30 days from your last use, then expires automatically. Your IP address is held for up to 24 hours, then expires. We do not otherwise store your answers or your framing in any database, the tool sets no cookies, and it runs no analytics.
You don't need to share sensitive material: the Assistant is designed to work from the shape of an opportunity (sector, value band, deadline, and your read of the situation) without buyer names or tender documents. Whatever you enter is used only to generate your framing and is never used to train AI models.
Marketing: we follow up personally on the enquiry you send. We only send further messages to people who choose the Deal Desk founding list option or ask to join it; otherwise you hear from us once, with the framing you requested.
Deletion: you can ask us to remove your enquiry email and the hashed record of your address at any time by emailing hello@prestigesprout.co.uk. We do this within one month, usually much sooner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct or ask us to delete the information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@prestigesprout.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, for example if we add analytics or a newsletter, we will update this policy and the date above before the change takes effect.
